We are very fortunate to live in a city which provides children and young people with fantastic and varied opportunities to enhance their education – and potentially discover their life’s true vocation – through community-based learning at local libraries, theatres, and arts and cultural centres.
On a new ‘Community Connections‘ page I’ve highlighted some of those opportunities for you – whether through in-school programming, family-based activities, March and Summer Break programming, or volunteering – that are available right in our downtown ward.
Thus far I’ve included programming which is available at our priceless public libraries, Art Gallery of Ontario, Canadian Stage, National Ballet of Canada, Royal Ontario Museum, Soul Pepper Theatre, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, and the Toronto Symphony Orchetra.
I will continue to broaden this list over the coming months and years to provide the most complete information to our community. In support of that aim, please do contact me if you are aware of other education opportunities available to children and youth in downtown Toronto.
