New Canadians – Welcome! For those new to our country and for whom English is a second language (ESL) the TCDSB provides English language instruction and settlement support services in many locations throughout the city during days, evenings and on weekends.
The Student Voice – Ask your Teacher or Principal about eCSLIT (elementary) or CSLIT (secondary leadership)!
As trustee, it’s important that I listen to those in our school and broader community who are interested in enriching Catholic education, and that includes, perhaps most importantly, our students.
Elementary Catholic Student Leadership Impact Team – eCSLIT – and CSLIT, represents and promotes the visions and the voice of the Toronto Catholic District School Board’s 90,000 students through the involvement of elementary school students. With the vision of catholic leadership and the values of catholic social teachings, eCSLIT gives students the opportunity to get involved and work on issues of social justice and equality. eCSLIT mainly supports the missions brought forth by CSLIT.
Each school that is part of the TCDSB is welcome to send a minimum of one intermediate student delegate, supervised by a teacher moderator. Students who wish to become leaders, are willing to have fun and meet new people and are also eager to learn are always welcome to join this exceptional team of young dedicated and enthusiastic elementary students!
